Something just wasn’t right. Mum instinct maybe

I’ve been using the Smart Sock ever since my daughter was 12 weeks old and we transitioned her to a crib in her own room. I was looking forward to using the Smart sock not only for tracking her oxygen and heart rate but also her sleep patterns. On Thursday, I noticed Amelia was getting a cold. With help from her Smart Sock, I was able to tell that she was congested but she seemed to still be breathing okay. Fast forward to Saturday.

I put the Smart Sock on her before bed as I usually do, only to see her oxygen level was around 87-91%. Being a nurse, I know that is not the best number but I also wondered if it was a false reading. I moved her Sock and watched for any other signs. Something just wasn’t right. Mum instinct maybe.

Eventually, I took my daughter into the pediatrician and her oxygen level was really 87-89% on room air. They swabbed her and she was diagnosed with RSV. The Smart Sock gave me peace of mind that she was ok but also notified me to check on her. I was hesitant to get it 12 weeks ago but am so so thankful for it now and how it’s helped me care for my daughter! I can’t recommend it enough!
