We were awoken by a red notification from the Owlet Smart Sock

Being in law enforcement for 14 years, I’ve been a part of a lot of families' worst moments in life when it comes to their children, and last night I experienced my own. After taking our bub to the pediatrician on Saturday, we were told he had a common cold. We followed all the guidelines; humidifier, keeping his nostrils clear; but as my wife and I slept last night we were awoken by a red notification from the Owlet Smart Sock, later determined to be low oxygen levels.

We rushed into the nursery and grabbed our bub from the crib only to find him struggling to breath and lethargic. We rushed to the ER, where they confirmed his oxygen levels were dangerously low and diagnosed him with RSV. They immediately administered breathing treatments, improving his conditions. I don’t want to know what could have happened had we not been notified in the middle of the night. When we bought the Owlet Smart Sock, we did it for the ‘peace of mind’. I never thought it would help us possibly save his life one day, and I truly believe that! I’ve always told family and friends how great the Owlet Smart Sock is, but now I can prove it’s capability. Thank you is not enough!
