We will be forever grateful
“We had our daughter prematurely and she spent the first three weeks of her life in NICU. Having her was complicated as well. Being a lesbian couple, it took a few tries and a whole lot of money to bring her into the world. We were so used to the monitors in the hospital and for the first week we didn't buy a monitor, but I was staying awake until 5 or 6am making sure she was breathing. I finally bought Smart Sock from John Lewis so when I had to return to work I would be able to sleep and put my mind at ease.
One day, she was ready for her feed, so we fed her, held her up, got some really good burps out, and laid her down. At 07:39 our Smart Sock Base Station started going off. We both hopped out of bed to grab her as fast as we could and she was choking on her vomit. Had we not had our Owlet Smart Sock, the next feed wasn't until 09:00 and we were so tired I don't know what would have happened. Thank you.
