Cam 2 has smarter notifications with Cry Detection, and video clips on cry sound, and motion events. The Owlet Cam 2 also provides access to Predictive Sleep Technology in the Dream App, and lets parents know when Baby's next nap should be after they log Baby's sleep & wake windows in the app.
The Two-Way Talk feature allows you to communicate with Baby through the Cam. Talk to and soothe your baby from anywhere.
The Cam’s angle cannot be adjusted in the app, but you can manually change the position of the Cam whether it’s mounted on the wall or sitting on a shelf.
Predictive Sleep Technology is a new tool in the Dream App available for all Cam 2 and Dream Sock users. Predictive Sleep takes data like baby's age, the last time they slept, and how long they slept to calculate their next ideal bedtime. Predictive Sleep tracks wake & sleep windows so you don't have to.
The Cam auto-adjusts to allow you to see your baby in the night with high-quality night vision. Check on your baby during the night without losing video quality or clarity.
Up to 4 people can stream footage from your Cam at the same time. And because the Cam is connected to your secure, private Wi-Fi network only those you share your account credentials with can access your Cam.

Up to 4 caregivers can access the Owlet Dream App and any associated products with that account from their separate smartphones.
Video clips are accessible for 7 days in the Owlet Dream App. From there, clips can be saved to your device and shared with loved ones. Please note that after 7 days, clips are automatically deleted and cannot be recovered.
Background audio allows you to look at other apps or lock your phone and still hear audio from your baby’s room in the background.
Cry detection is Owlet's first smart notification, specifically letting you know when Baby is crying, versus any other sound that may occur in Baby's room. By differentiating between "sounds" and "cries," Cam 2 helps parents understand if Baby is simply a little fussy, or may need assistance getting back to sleep. Just like adults, babies don't typically resort to crying immediately. By notifying parents about the different types of sounds in the room, Cam 2 helps parents understand if baby is extremely uncomfortable or just making typical Baby sounds. All notifications from the Cam 2 have settings that allow you to adjust them to your individual preferences. If you're getting too many notifications (or not enough) based on your baby’s noise activity, you can adjust the sensitivity level to specifically match your family’s needs.
Owlet Cam users who don’t have a Dream Sock baby monitor can tap into the new Predictive Sleep Technology by manually adding in sleep sessions into the Dream App. From there, the Dream App will let parents know when the next optimal sleep window will be for Baby.
Your Cam is connected to your private Wi-Fi network so only those you choose can stream footage from your monitor.
